PPS Filter Yarn

PPS filter yarn, which is made of 100% polyphenylene sulfide fiber, has excellent heat resistance. The strength retention rate at 200℃ is 60%, and at 250℃ is about 40%; below 250℃, its elongation at break remains basically unchanged; if the multifilament is placed in a high-temperature furnace at 200℃, the breaking strength remains basically unchanged after 54 days; after 48 hours at 260℃, it can still maintain 60% of the initial strength of the fiber. Polyphenylene sulfide fiber also has outstanding chemical stability, and its corrosion resistance is second only to polytetrafluoroethylene fiber.

This yarn can work continuously in an environment of 160 degrees to 200 degrees, and its chemical stability and strength are excellent in the flue gas environment with high sulfur content. Our PPS filter yarn products use high-quality domestic fibers or Japanese Toyobo fibers as raw materials, which can be used in coal-fired boilers, metal smelting and other highly acidic flue gas filtration environments.
